John Bought his XR3i back in September 2003. The car was totally standard but there was no way John was gonna leave it that way.

Over the next 6 months the modifications began. The brakes and suspension were uprated and the Escort was fitted with clear indicators.

Next on the modification list was the exhaust. The standard one was removed and replaced with a competition replacement. The side repeaters were replaced with LED variants and the seatbelts were replaced with harneses. The rear lights were then changed from the standard set up to super smoked.

The standard wheels were next on the hit list so these were removed and replaced with a set of black Team Dynamics.

In May 2007 John decided to whip out the old CVH and replace it with the more powerfull and reliable Zetec. Some pictures of his conversion can be found here

Unfortunatley, after John purchased his XR2 the Escort has been used as a donor car so is now sitting without its Zetec. John has fututre plans of restoring the body and putting this great looking car back together.

Its only a matter of time before this Escort can be seen racing round the track once again.
