The time had finally come for the biggest event on the show calendar, Ford Fair. Five of us made the long journey with Lee and Niall doing just short of a 1000 mile round trip. John was touch and go as he was replacing the engine on the XR2 on the Friday night and missed the convoy but managed to meet up with the rest of us at the pub that night. The sun was out and the cars were shining. Stuart managed a few laps with his XR4i and a couple of us decided to be safe and go out with the Lotus Exige track cars they have there.
